Let me insert an informed opinion. I have raised chickens. They are
literally too stupid to fly away from dogs, or to come in out of a
hail storm. Chickens are Dumb with a capital D. You do them a
service by keeping them in a temperature controlled, predator free
environ with lots of food. Food and sex is all that motivates them.
Perdue chicks get plenty of both.

Perhaps you should take this to alt.civil-liberties where they
discuss such things at length? surely this is not the forum...

A good way to insure the future suffering of Perdue chickens is to
release them to "freely range," I assure you. Ever watch a dog tear
a chicken apart? They aren't decent enough to kill them before
plucking them, you know.

PS- I'm a vegitarian. Not because it's healthy, or because I think
comercially raised meat suffers more while alive than "free
ranging" meat or sedentary broccoli. Just because meat tastes
    nasty.

PPS- You should go read news.announce.newusers' discussion on
     spelling and grammar flames.
