I didn't say laws against drunk driving are unenforcable. I said the
*drinking age* is unenforceable. In a country where most people can
buy alcohol, it is inevitable that young people will get their hands
on it. All the drinking age does is determine where they get it and
when.

Our laws should recognize the inevitability of teenage alcohol use and
seek to reduce the harm caused by that use, instead of unrealistically
clinging to a no-use dogma.
