Dr. : Thomas is the last of the NASA astronauts who will be living aboard Mir : before it is decommisioned. It is a great honour for someone born Don't you mean before it decomposess??? : outside the USA to be part of a NASA program like this, and Prime : Minister Howard has expressed his envy. There is now a nationwide call : for John Howard to be sent to Mir, preferably while it's being crashed : into the pacific ocean. Why just to Mir? Let's be first to land a human being on Mars - or even one of the outer Planets! And why stop there? There are lots of asteroids and plenty of politicians all over Australia. Let's get rid of them all and elect a tamagochi as the new President of Australia - it'll require the same amount of maintenance as all Aussie goverments, but at a greatly reduced cost due to it being Japanese! And it's a cute, and kids love the noisey beeping things! 'Kore wa "Tamagochi Party" desu ka?' 'Hai!' : In a shock move this wednesday Senator Cheryl Kernot resigned her senate : seat, and her position as Democrats leader to join the ALP. The : politician who claimed she was there to keep the bastards honest has : become one of the bastards herself, apparantly so she can more : effectively work against the Howard Government. When asked for comment The secret is out, the Aussie Democrats are really just a minor party of B@$!@^&$ !!!! And Cheryl has gone to join a bigger party of them. But don't worry, NASA is planning a launch of all Aussie Parties to their respective planets and Asteroids according to size. They can go rule their own planets. After all, they all claim they can solve the tough problems, so let them do so. First tough problem - how to breath in an hostile environment! Can't solve it? No problems! :) : And finally, in California this Monday country music singer John Denver : died when he flew an experimental plane into the ocean. Mr. Denver had : no pilot's license at the time and had only bought the plane the day : before the accident. John Denver is not the first musician to die in a : plane crash, going the way of Richie Valens the Big Bopper and Stevie : Ray Vaughn, Unfortunately the spice girls are still refusing to take : flying lessons. A small aside : Pink Floyd used to be afraid of flying - I believe that Dave Gilmour has a licence now and owns about four planes. Also, when on the WALL tour, Roger Waters used to be flown by helicopter to the gigs while the rest of the band took a limo! : : Apparantly Elton John has offered to write a tribute song for John : Denver's funeral, and here at the world this week we have an exclusive : sneak preview of the lyrics, I find it rather sad and perplexing that the Spice Girls have knocked Elton off the charts in Britian and have entered at No. 1 with their new single! Apparently they're the first band in England to havetheir first five singles reach number one, with four of them entering at the top spot! See waht good amrketing can do for a band!!! For $595 you can buy a device which alters your singer to the correct note < something I'm in need of, and one of the guys at my second job is SERIOUSLY in need of >. No need for talent anymore - you too can be a great singer without learning to sing! : And that's the world this week. Bear. Auto-tune is a multi-platform plug-in that corrects intonation problems of vocals and other solo recordings in real time. - Sales brochuer from SOUND DEVICES in Sydney. < I have the address if you REALLY NEED it for your singing :) >.
