Has anybody running linux connected to Verizon in the NoVa/DC area? With or without IMAP? With or without a shell? With or without a decent OS on Verizon itself? If you can, do you have to be a supernerd to manage it? Or even get it up and running? I've got one last very annoying buglet in pc-pine on my old muckeyslop hard drive, which is filling up fast since I got the GPS and map CDs; I'd like to dedicate the poor old thing to that one use, forget pc-pine, and run real pine and opera (and some linux newsreader) from my second hard drive -- before it too begins to seem cramped . . . Has anybody less than the Geek of Uttermost Geeks managed this yet? My linux is obsoleting out on me while I'm still trying to learn to manage it! Waahhhh! Sob! Gasp.
