"Important?"  Like hell it is.  You are the one confused if you think
"genius" has much of anything to do with achievement.  Most of the
"geniuses" I went to school with never amounted to much of anything.
First they were bored by the "drudgery" of school, then by the "lack
of inspiration" in work.  Achievement comes from determination and
hard work, and I'll hire a "normal" person who knows that over 
"geniuses" who are still trying to find something worthy of their
intellect anytime.  "Heidi" may make for a good "great white hope"
story in your local news, but let's recheck her in 10 years or so to
see if she ever manages to finish anything she starts once she leaves
the sheltered halls of academia.

Oh sure, just the other day a gang of white MIT graduates were caught 
burning a cross.  Where do you think hate groups get most of their
recruits?  From the white underclass, who never seem to figure out
that the reason the nonwhite immigrant got hired for that nuclear
physicist position over them was that they never bothered to finish
high school.  It's clear to the most casual observer that the reason 
white supremacists target all nonwhites is that most of them are too
stupid to be able to distinguish one minority from another.
