Tee Hee!

Well, you know that an employee of the FBI was one of the victims.

The situation is that when someone in "law enforcement" or associated with
them is killed, the "law enforcement" types want to see someone punished.

As a case a few years ago (where the cops shot a "suspect" who had NOTHING
to do with the crime) demonstrates, the cops are more interested in SOMEONE
getting "punished" NOW rather than the actual guilty party being punished at
some future time.

Slightly OT:

My "take" on why the cops went to town looking for the "white vans" and
ignored the equally valid "clue" about the blue Caprice was that there are
like still a few "undercover" caprices with "real" cops running about.

You combine trigger happy cops (with their SWAT weapons and attitudes) with
plain clothes, armed cops and it would be only a matter of time before you
have a dead cop at the hands of another cop.
