  I doubt it , as you have seem to have lived a sheltered life , there =
are
  a lot worse places in Australia other than Perth for aggressive =
people.

  If you have not experienced the street life of Sydney , Melbourne ,
  Brisbane or Perth , then you don't know anything.

  From my experience , I would rather live in Perth , it is safer and
  there are less gangs roaming the streets.
  Also walking into a pub / night-club in Sydney by yourself is really a
  dangerous thing to do , chances are that 80% of the time you would end
  up in a fight or possibly get mugged.

  Perth is still a small country town underneath everything and doesn't
  have all the problems of a big city like Sydney  or Melbourne.
