Dear Netsurfer and Wisconsin Dells fanatic:
Just so you know--DellsChat/The Wisconsin Dellscussion (located, just so you
know, at http://members.xoom.com/KahunaDells/DellsChat.htm) HAS JUST RECORDED
ITS 1,000TH HIT since going online on June 4th of this year!!
And just yesterday (30th July), DellsChat saw its first day WITH AT LEAST 50
HITS TO THE SITE IN A 24-HOUR PERIOD!!
PLUS: A second(!!) chatroom HAS JUST BEEN MADE AVAILABLE for your convenience,
and on the same site (no less!)
Thanks to you, you're making DellsChat THE chatroom to be at when it comes to
talking Wisconsin Dells--but why rest on our laurels? I urge you to keep it
up, and keep telling your friends in cyberspace (especially such as may want
to visit Wisconsin Dells soon) about this unique cyberdiscussion area for
talking about Wisconsin Dells, the Dells experience, and all that is
"Dell"ightful between Stand Rock and the Sugar Bowl!!
Only your continued and continuing support and patronage can keep DellsChat
going--can continue making DellsChat what it is. And what it can be.
(And by the way: Be sure, too, to take a visit to
http://www.findmail.com/list/wisconsindellscussion/ and find out about an
E-mail roundtable discussion I've also launched, aimed at encouraging further
discussion about Wisconsin Dells and the experience thus endemic. Quite a
unique and innovative one, I can assure you....)
Sincerely,
KAHUNA ACCIDENTALE OF THE DELLS
"There are few who visit them [i.e., Wisconsin Dells] who don't become
infatuated with them in a greater or less degree...."
--H. H. BENNETT
(1843-1908)
photographer who first made the Dells
famous and well-known (and NOT Tommy
Bartlett, contrary to what you may be
thinking all along!!)
From a letter to Julia A. Lapham of the
Federated Women's Clubs of Wisconsin,
April 2, 1906, encouraging preservation
of the Dells as a state park in the face
of proposed hydroelectric development at
the Dells (known until 1931 as Kilbourn)
