Several years back, the promotional efforts of the Wisconsin Dells Visitor &
Convention Bureau, particularly on radio spots, revolved around this somewhat
saccharine jingle:

    Mother Nature created the beauty,
    But we created the fun;
    Wisconsin Dells--
    There's something for everyone!!

Which has prompted me to imagine, over all this time (only now coming back to
me, like fine old brandy ready for bottling in its prime, notwithstanding the
proverbial "angel's portion"), what would be some excellent musical selections
apropos that jingle for purposes of musical rejoinder.

For starters, I would have in mind:

*"Things I'd Like to Say" [The New Colony Six; obviously the first choice all
along, for reasons I know not]

*"Sukiyaki" [Kyu Sakamoto]

Know You"

*"Like A Rolling Stone" or "Tangled Up in Blue" [Bob Dylan]

*"Let Me Be The One" [Expose]

*"Everlasting Love" [Howard Jones]

*"The Way to Your Heart" [Soulsister]

*"Dominique" [The Singing Nun]

*"Do It Again" [The Beach Boys]

*"Mind Games" [John and Yoko Lennon]

*"Riders on the Storm" [The Doors]

*"Chick-A-Boom" [Daddy Dew Drop]

*"Rainy Day People" [Gordon Lightfoot]

*Anything by The Moody Blues--especially "Nights in White Satin," "Tuesday
Afternoon," "The Story in Your Eyes," "See-Saw," "No More Lies," "The Other
Side of Life," "The Voice Within," "Gemini Dream" or "Your Wildest Dreams"

Why not start with these selections--your imagination (and musical tastes) can
supply the others!
