What about civil investigation?

Is libel civil or criminal?

Is uttering threats on a newsgroup civil or criminal?

Yes...somebody has partially opened the Pandoras box... and this
newsgroup will just never be da' same.

Nothing new has happened to me...cept' my modem is flashing red...but
that will be promply dealt with.

Then...I may crank it up a few steps.

I ask ..is an internet provider able to suspend service 
A) without giving prior notice? no email attempt and no phone call?2
B) not allow the customer to see any complaint and to argue their
innocence?
C) to suspend an account while a person is relying on it receive/seek
employment and to sell off assets?
D) failing to protect its customers by not enforcing their AUPs
e) allowing companies to be libeled on newsgroups because the provider
didn't enforce their own AUP despite repeated warnings


I am wondering about damages?
