I want to "print" blank pages!

Hello, I have the problem that the printer takes no notice of blank pages. I convert my framemaker document to Pdf, the blank pages appear in Acrobat but when I print the Pdf document the blank pages are skipped (the page also does not print from framemaker). I solved the problem to an extent by simply inserting a text frame with white text, but I cannot imagine that this is the correct method. Can anybody help Thanks, Grant
