Cannot import table formats and how to create one .FM file from several .FM files?

Hello, I am a newbie in FrameMaker. Once, I had to import whole formats from one FM file into a new FM file using Import Formats feature. The problem, I couldn't import the formats in a table, e.g font size, font type, etc., although I had checked the Table Formats.  The last, how can I create several FM files into one single FM file??
