I've downloaded Adobe Reader for Mac OSX 10.4.8 several times and it downloads successfully; however everytime i launch it a webhelp screen comes up. I check the box not to launch webhelp at startup of application, i go to read the pdf document and it seems like a minute after opening adobe reader 8.0 it crashes unexpectedly, but there is no crash report. What can this be? I also want to know how to uninstall previous versions of adobe reader so I can just download adobe reader 8.0, but i can't do that until i know adobe reader 8.0 will work. Why does it crash a minute after I launch it?
