Howdy,

I'm running Acrobat 7.0 on a Win2K box with SP2. I am trying to programmatically launch it from a C++ application when a particular user logs in. The user has full administrator privileges, but has the desktop and taskbar made unavailable to prevent mischief. When I do this the Acrobat start box comes up, then immediately reports "An internal error occurred." and closes. Any time I try to start Acrobat in this state, be it from a command prompt or through code, I get the same error. However, if I log in as the user and then remotely start Explorer and enable the taskbar, Acrobat runs fine. Goodie for me, but my project requirements say that I have to keep the taskbar unavailable, so it isn't viable for me to just leave it that way.
   Would anybody be able to point me in the right direction for getting it to work the way I want it to?
