I have a PDF file that causes Reader 7 to display some message at open time. Reader gives me about 1/10 of a second or so to read it. I believe it says something like: "The file is damaged ... repaired." Is there any way to find out what it doesn't like about the PDF file? Is there any program that will check a PDF for validity? I've tried using using the preflight test within Acrobat 7 but by that time the file has been 'repaired'.
