Yesterday I installed Acrobat 8 Professional on my system, an XPPRO SP2. Firefox had worked fine with Acrobat 5 and Reader 6 or 7. I had to uninstall Reader 6, Reader 7, and Acrobat 5 before installing Acrobat 8 Professional and restart the system. After the installation I can not open a PDF in Firefox. I thought I needed the reader so I installed Reader 8 and continue to get the same results. My only options are Download or Cancel. Are there some answers out there? This has become very frustrating. I have uninstalled the Reader, various versions of the Reader, shut down, restart, reinstall, and continue to get the same results. Thank you.
