Acrobat Reader still fails to start. I can download any version, no problem. I can install any version, no problem. But at the end of the install, when it asks do you want to launch Adobe reader 8 and I check the box, it seems to load and certify, and I see the hourglass for 3-4 seconds, then nothing. If I try to open PDF docs from IE, eventually it will time out and say there is a problem with Adobe Acrobat/ Reader. Please exit Adobe Acrobat/Reader and try again. I have run Crap Cleaner, Ashampoos WinOptimizer4, and Windows Install Clean Up, but nothing makes this program runnable. I dont want to format & restore my HD, but I dont know what else to try.
