Battistelli, 

Do you mean the functionality of the "Load Paragraph Styles", "Load Character Styles" and "Load All Styles" menu items on the Character and Paragraph Style palettes? 

If so, then this is not currently scriptable. 

I think your options are to either import an RTF document that contains the style definition or to store the settings of the styles in a separate file that your script parses and then uses the values to create the paragraph styles and character styles using VB.
