Ole, 

Thanks, I understand now. What I did was create a loop that searches for the last Group in the Inlines collection. 

Another issue is when I create a new page and a new TextFrame on the new page I get a reference to the last InsertionPoint so I can Paste in another Group. When I try to do "MyInDesign.Select myInsertionPoint" I get an error that says the Select Failed. I even do an Activate beforehand...Any Ideas?
