Greg-- I'm part of the "InDesign scripting team" at Adobe. I write the Scripting Guide and example scripts, write the specs for the scripting implementation, and support/evangelize InDesign scripting on mailing lists/forums/events/etc. You'll also see Alan Stearns and Peter Boctor here--they're 2 out of the other 3 team members.<g> re: "A big question that I have is when (hopefully not just if) we can expect to see native support for .NET for ID Scripting?" We're still trying to figure out what it is that we're missing, at this point. I'm still hoping that we can come up with a solution that doesn't involve changing our scripting plug-in. If we can't find such a work-around, I really don't know if we'd post a new build of the plug-in or wait until the next major release of InDesign. (I would assume that that would be the longest you'd have to wait for more thorough .NET support, but I can't make any promises. I've been told, repeatedly, that I can't make any promises.<g>) Thanks, Ole
