Hi,
I'm currently rinnning Linux on my first IDE with windows on ,my second
ribbon (an old 800 meg'r). I've tried to set up a 2.5 gig partition I have
left unused on my IDE 1 - primary, for a shared drive between the two OS's.
So I set it up and create a Win32 LBA (fdisk type "c", I've tried "e" or "f"
for that matter) and either use mkdosfs to format it or even fornat it from
Win98. All seems to go well but things eventually get really screwed up.
Simple files seem to work fine, but directory structures copied all at once
seem to hose it.
I've zeroed out the first 512 bytes of the partition after creating it
from Linux.
Wondering if what I'm trying to do is even possible.
Anyone know?
