I have been having problems with my Global Village Platinum and its
voice/fax sensing too. I have been emailing Global Village about the
problem and they keep sending back suggestions, but so far nothing has
worked. My problem is that I have a Caller ID unit that I am trying to use
and it is interfering, the last resort is that I am going to buy an
answering machine and hook the Caller ID unit and the answering machine on
a separate outlet {though it is going to be one the same line} Global
Village *says* that this will work.
