I'm having some problems trying to obtain an 8-bit no-parity terminal connection to Suns running both 4.0 and 4.1. Setting "cs8 -parenb" causes the tty[ab] line to work in 8N mode, until I do "more" or "vi", at which point the terminal always switches back to 7 bits even parity. No doubt other commands cause the same problem. As if this weren't bad enough, when the command exits the 7E mode remains. Yuck. Does anyone know why this problem is occurring? Thanks, Nick. -- ACSnet: nick@ultima.cs.uts.oz UUCP: ...!uunet!munnari!ultima.cs.uts.oz!nick
