 Uhhuh, in the very beginning it had to be pulled it via phoneline,
generally from a local BBS, who transferred the materials via LONG
DISTANCES charges generally paid by the BBS SOP because the world
*wasn't* connected via any supposed public world-wide cabling [other
than telephone], satellite, or other.

 Okay, those are sensibly placed questions.

 Microsoft recently opened its once public/private forums to full Usenet
style usage.
 The MVPs are aware I need no help in these styles of issues, and may
inadvertently or deliberately come in on the wrong side or at wrong
moment. If they do, I will deal with them as I would any others
providing wrong, uninformed, or misleading information.

 Maybe this might explain it a little better for you, pursuant this
particular issue you claim to have raised:
