I cannot go into details here but try these commands

For copying hidden files, unfortunately, there is no program that can do it
in the set of tools provided is MS-DOS 6.22. However, you can set the
attributes first before copying with the "attrib" command , remove the
hidden property and enable it back again after copying.

For the prompt on using the second disk try "PAUSE". then "ECHO Insert
second disk", keep in mind however it won't check for the correct disk, and
if you press a key to continue when you haven't removed the last disk it
will follow the instructions on the 1st disk which is meant for the 2nd
disk.
