The parameters supported by XCOPY and XCOPY32 differ. Type XCOPY /? at a DOS prompt to find out, what parameters are available. XCOPY is used in the MS-DOS Mode and XCOPY32 is used while Windows is up and running. If you can not do what you want with XCOPY, you may want to start Windows and run the batch file from here. > Just another question, let's say if i have a boot up disk with >autoexec.bat that copies my .dat files over, and i've got another disk with >some more .dat files to be copied over to the hard disk. XCOPY A:\*.DAT C:\ELSEWHERE\*.* -- (tm)
