Graphics printing with dot matrix printer?

Does anyone know how to print postscript files or graphics files to a dot
- matrix printer? I have read lots of stuff about support for
bubble/inkjet printers and laser printers, using Ghostscript for PS
emulation on non - PS printers, but I have never seen any reference to
anything which will allow me to use a dot - matrix for this purpose. If it
isn't possible, then that's sad, because printing of graphics stuff in DOS
is trivially easy. Even my apple IIc can do it, after a fashion.

Suggestions?
