hi,

is it possible to stop Samba from following/descending
into symbolic links ?

i'm trying to backup one of my linux boxes from a Windoze95
workstation and the backup program keeps following
these links (which it shouldn't of course)

alternativly, is it possible under linux (2.0), to temporary
disable all symbolic links ?

thanks -rudy
