I have a Pentium 90 with a Mitsumi CRMC FX-400 cd-rom drive and am trying to install linux. However, linux is not recognising the cd-rom. Has anyone else with this model of cd-rom drive been successful in using it with linux? I am particularly interested in the necessary jumper configuration as I did not receive a manual with the drive :( The drive is on the secondary IDE channel, not the soundcard - that much I do know. Reg.
