I found easy peasy 1.5 buggy/difficult so I've stayed with version 1.1 for
the moment. I have also looked at ubuntu 9.10 netbook remix beta and I was
most impressed. It handled things like the function keys and the wifi LED
perfectly out of the box. BTW, on a eeepc one can use the eee-control
application setup to handle function keys and the like. See
http://greg.geekmind.org/eee-control/ but read the documentation well and
take note of the various issues raised...

I will most likely move over to UNR 9.10 when it is officially released at
the end of October. An importent issue to note regarding upgrading to 9.10
is that GRUB 2 boot loader is used and this caused problems when I wanted
to revert to a disk image of an earlier release which used 1.x version. I
read somewhere that if one updates from UNR 9.04 to 9.10 via the update
manager then the 1.x GRUB boot loader is NOT overwritten.
