I agree 100% with you. I don't wonder why the Queensland road toll is so high this year, seeing some of the disgraceful driving around the place. I don't know what is the matter with everyone, but it seems that everyone *must* drive flat out and with agro to try and be seen as a good driver. Not to mention having to be infront of everyone *all* the time. The last few weeks, some of the overtaking practices have been incredible. I drove to Kingaroy the other day, I was doing 100km/h, and someone decided to start overtaking me at the base of a hill. Yes, on the base of a hill, double white lines coming up and a car coming the other way!! They got a quarter the way along my side and suddenly braked and pulled back in behind me. How the vehicle behind them didn't run into them I don't know. Then they tail gated me for a kilometer. That's another thing that gets me fuming. One of these days I can see something could happen infront of me causing me to brake hard. Well you know what the consequences will be, but what can you do? But this is only barely scratching the surface, and as far as I'm concerned, there needs to be some good bookings. I enjoy driving, and it's a pity that it has to be interfered with by these so called 'good' drivers. Regards, Mark Ansell
