What follows is part of an archie session which to locate emtex sites...

$ telnet archie.au

%TELNET-I-TRYING, Trying to connect to ARCHIE.AU
%TELNET-S-OPEN, Connection Opened to sol.deakin.OZ.AU

SunOS UNIX (sol.deakin.OZ.AU)
archie

This is an experimental Australian version of archie. This uses exactly
the same code as at McGill, and all the hard work for this project is
directly attributed to the Archie people at McGill.

At the moment Archie is running on sol.deakin.OZ.AU, a Sun 4/280 which
has plenty of other work to do. We expect archie
will eventually migrate to another host (hopefully supplied by AARNet).

NOTE: This service is intended for Australian and New Zealand users.

NOTE: As of July 10, 15:00PM, Archie is running a new version.

Please report any problems to postmaster@deakin.OZ.AU
