I'm new to user / news groups.  I've been an Avid editor for 7 years and are
keen to find people I can discuss technical concerns with etc.

Is this group subscribed to particularly by people from a geographic area
such as the States (and is there a group based in Australia or New Zealand
that I can be pointed to), or is this group more global in origin?

I also want to be able to make suggestions to Avid Corporation itself
regarding wish lists for future upgrades etc, can I do so through a news
group like this?
