            WWF Monday Ratings War WCW

It's Tuesday so it must mean that the ratings for the Monday night shows
are in. Raw Is War was taped last Tuesday in Wheeling, West Virginia while
Nitro Was brought to us live from Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Nitro continued it's winning ways in the ratings war as they garnered a
cumulative 3 hour rating of a very impressive 5.0. The hourly ratings for the
program are as follows. Hour 1, which ran from 8-9, recieved a 5.0. Hour 2,
from 9-10, recieved a 4.9 while hour 3 recieved a 5.1.

The WWF's Raw Is War, taped one week ago, continues to do strong numbers
for their time slot. Their 2 hour composite ratings was a 3.5 with hourly
ratings being 3.5 and 3.6.

            -WORLD WRESTLING FEDERATION-

          WWF's Dominance in Europe Ending?

The World Wrestling Federation has always had the edge in the ratings on
European television. WCW Monday Nitro, which appears on TNT Europe, only aired
in a 1 hour shortened version each week which gave the WWF the advantage
because of their product, Raw Is War, being shown in it's entirety.

However, effect immediately, that is all changing. TNT Europe has decided
to expand their coverage of Nitro from the usual one hour to the full 3 hours
of action. This means for the very first time the latter two hours of Nitro
will run head to head with Raw.

TNT Europe, before the change, ran the edited version of the WCW product
from 8-9pm on Friday evenings. United Kingdom's Sky Sports aired the WWF Raw
Is War from 10-11pm also on Friday evening. However, with the change, Nitro
will now be pushed back to 9 and run from 9 till midnight thus going head-to-
head with Raw the last two hours.

            PWH Jacob's Weekly Web Review

              This week I will review:
                  wrestlingman.com

Welcome to another edition of PWH Jacob's web review. I would just like to
say really quick that I have already gotten many requests to review people's
web pages, and that I am bias to domains, so your website has a better chance
of getting reviewed in Pro Wrestling Hardcore if it is a domain then if you
are on, say Tripod or Geocities. I'm sorry. Onto the review.

The Staff of wrestlingman.com consists of the Living Legend, Chris Schamm
and only Chris Schramm.

The site is very well designed, with an image map type of thing along the
side of the page for navigation. The site features only a few images on the
main page, one being a paid sponser and the other being the page logo. Thus,
the page loads very quickly.

Wrestlingman's news reliability is usually good, it is worth reading. It
is updated daily, and unlike most sites, it is not a newsboard, it is simply a
normal page with bulleted pieces of news.

To my knowledge, wrestlingman is not very well known, despite their popular
newsletter, The Living Legend.

Now, my favorite part of the article, time to describe the features.
Wrestlingman has around 10-12 different things to offer.

Main - The Main Page, Nothing More.
News - A Page with all the latest news for the day.
Living Legend - Read old issues of the Living Legend as well as subscribe or
unsubscribe to it.
PPV - View the results of the latest PPV from all feds, a s well as old
results.
Television - Results from Raw, Nitro, Thunder etc.
Women of Wrestling - This page is going to be a great, I can already tell.
Pictures of all the women of wrestling. This page currently has Sable,
Marlena, Francine and a few others. Soon it should have all the other women.
Indy Wrestling - Still being constructed, and the webmaster is looking for
help with this page. Look below for the address where to contact him at about
it.
Merchandise - You can find many unique pieces of wrestling merchandise. A
must see for a collecter. This page has everything from Referee JAKKS, to the
first issue of the Warrior comic book.
Links - You can add your own link here. This page has tons of wrestling
links, even e-fed links.
Sign and/or View Guestbook - Sign and/or View Wrestlingman.com's LPAGE
guestbook.
Pen Pals - The webmaster is also looking for help with this page.

To contact Wrestlingman, e-mail the Living Legend. Also if you are
interested in helping Wrestlingman with the indy page and/or the Pen pal page,
click that link.

Wrestlingman.com is a well designed site with lots of useful and
informative features. Out of a possible 10, I give it an 8, because of all the
great PPV and TV coverage as well as the newsletter. Thank you, and see you
next Tuesday! As always, if you have a website you would like me to consider
reviewing, or you would like to comment on my article, e-mail me. (I welcome
constructive criticism, please tell me what you think of my article)
