Uncensored. RAW was OK, but really slowed down when Austin took up
almost 15 minutes of time doing nothing."

\_/ Titan Sports has hired a new VP of New Media, and a TBR source within
the WWF reports that the employee has "gone over budget" on
upcoming projects. The same first hand source also went into detail
exclusively to TBR about the condition of Shawn Michaels. "Shawn
Michaels is legitimately hurt. There was speculation a few weeks ago
over the Internet that Shawn was faking his injury so he wouldn't have
to job to Steve Austin at Wrestlemania," he stated. "At the Raw
following the last In Your House, Shawn gave his Superkick and
went back to the locker room almost in tears. His back is very
bad. He goes out whenever asked and does what's asked of him, but
he is doing it in a lot of pain." The source also discussed the other
two members of Degeneration X. "Backstage at Raw in Cleveland, Hunter
Helmsley and Chyna were pretty inseparable." The two are close friends,
not just on camera (The Bagpipe Report)
\_/ Too Cold Scorpio remains under contract with the WWF, but since the
WWF is not using him on weekend shows, he is free to work ECW events.
ECW will continue using him for the foreseeable future (Outsider's Edge)
\_/ The Ratings are in, RAW pulled a 3.5 and 3.6 for its hourly numbers giving
them a 3.5 composite (David Lewis)
\_/ Jarrett was the one that wanted out of the NWA, he didn't think this
angle was
working out and didn't like working with has beens (David Lewis)
\_/ It looks like Bob Holly and Bart Gunn will team up as the "New Midnight
Express" for the 15 team battle royal at Wrestlemania. Jim Cornette will be
hooking them up together as a part of the NWA. (Ryan McMannis)
\_/ It is being reported that the next week's Raw main event will be the
team of Ken Shamrock, Steve Austin, and the Undertaker taking on the New Age
Outlaws and Triple H. This sounds too good to be true, so I'd expect it to
be a dark match. (Ryan McMannis)
\_/ Wade Keller reports that the WWF may be interested in Frank Shamrock,
Frank Shamrock has been backstage at many WWF Events He currently is in the
UFC.

\_/ Nitro pulled a 5.0, 4.9, and 5.1 in the ratings department giving them a 5.0
composite, beating RAW once again (David Lewis)
\_/ "Apocalypse" (Ed Leslie) is using the Stunner as a finisher, obviously, it
will be known as "The End of time" (David Lewis)
\_/ Sean Waltman, AKA Syxx, has been terminated by WCW. He received this
message via FedEx. This comes as a huge surprise, because he was scheduled
to make a WCW appearance to sign autographs.
\_/ Paul Wright (The Giant) may have injured his neck more severely last night
as the nWo did a couple of bad moves, including taking the neck brace off
(Jaycee Cannon)
\_/ Eddy Guerrero will almost definitely win the TV belt at Uncensored, it looks
like WCW will try to restore some credibility to the belt (David Lewis)
\_/ Raven is the favorite to win at Uncensored.
\_/ Rick Martel will be out for at least ten months for surgery on his knee.
(Ryan McMannis)
\_/ The gate for the last Nitro was approximately $225,000. Over the last
weekend WCW had over $1.1 million in gate revenue. Ric Martel and Jim Neidhart
were both backstage at Nitro.

By the time this column comes out, Uncensored will only be a few days
away. As I write this, I just watched the DDP/Raven/Benoit brawl from
Thunder for the second time. I saw it when it happened and was very
impressed with the work. No-one was left out of the mix as each man popped
the other and then each did a two-on-one punch, it was fabulous. The second
time I saw it I was even more impressed. The three kept everything from
getting so out of control you didn't know what was going on. As I said in my
last column, I don't know how long Scott Levy can keep the crazy stuff up.
Then again, I was convinced
Mick Foley would be in a wheelchair by the time he was 30.
I have to give Eric Bischoff a lot of credit for the way he has allowed
everyone to have a good storyline leading up to Sunday. My only concern that
I have left is that the matches will be booked in that loose style so the
boys can let go a little. I realize that they do have a show to do live on
Monday, but I don't want to see the caution Bill Watts had that caused the
firing of Dustin Runnels, Barry Darsow and Brian Blair.
Another thing that may have occurred by the time you read this is the
first appearance of Tony Norris in WCW. Word was that Norris had come to
terms with WCW as of last weekend so he was scheduled to be on Nitro. I am
just wondering what Eric will do with him, especially considering the
reputation he has gained for being injury prone as well as his hurting
fellow workers. I hope that Eric did not sign him just to put another ex WWF
man on his roster, he needs to take a look at what he can do with Tony until
they possibly retrain him so he can work safely.

WWF RAW is Warzone:
- How did I know they'd open the show with a recap of last week's show?
- Blackman, leave the weapons at home, OK?
- "The people's elbow"? LOL!
- Huh? Austin had an altercation with someone in an airport? Whatever...
- Can someone tell me the last time a major bout ended in something
other than a DQ on RAW?
- Forwarded thru Hunter's monologue
- Forwarded thru Shawn's monologue
- I wish someone would have the guts to mess with Chyna
- Forwarded thru the Windham/Owen match. It's just painful to see how out of
shape Windham is.
- Sable, handcuffed? Millions of male's fantasies are about to come true...
- Geez, Vader looked like hell
- What's with the technical difficulties? Another Undertaker thing?
- Geez, they're wasting a lot of time with this Austin thing
- What is Vince wearing? Some 70's reject stuff?
- Looks like Vince has lost some weight, too
- So, are Foley's two other personas officially dead?
- Cool! Where was Calloway hiding that he got up there and gone so
fast?
- Forwarded thru the entire Goldust/Mero fiasco
- Forwarded thru the Tyson interview
- I thought Savio and the Boricuas were working with DX?
- Lovely timing on the fade to black
WCW Nitro:
- Forwarded thru the Miller/Damien match
- Interesting shirt on Hogan, I kept trying to read what was on the back
- Forwarded thru the Bischoff & Hogan rant
- Forwarded thru most of the Sick Boy/Lane match.
- Stopped to read Lodi's various signs.
- Savage is a friend of the Giant? Interesting plot twist.
- Gee, Sting actually remembered to bring the belt with him this time
- Sting goes crazy!
- Smash is gonna get smashed...
- Forwarded thru the Goldberg squash
- "You're gonna feel like you've been detailed" HUH??? What did Kevin mean?
- Hogan again?
- High Voltage? Is Brian gonna take on both of them?
- Brian looked a little better in this match, but he could still stand
to do a few more crunches
- Geez, this IS turning into NWO Nitro
- Who's Konan referring to? Misterio? Psicosis?
- NORTON???
- Loved the look on Juvi's face when Norton came out
- Poor Juvi...
- That was a laughable bear hug by Saturn
- Forwarded thru the Bulldog/Konan match
- LMAO at Jericho's shirt
- The only reason the WCW took away the top-rope DQ rule is because the
WWF is working with the NWA, who's still using the rule.
- Is Disco the right weight to be Cruiserweight champ?
- Forwarded thru the Booker/Chavo match
- That's Mark Curtis in the ring! I just noticed! Welcome back, buddy!
- Why is Rick bringing that huge dog out with him?
- GOOD GOD! Paul had them BOTH in the air!
- OK, things just got weird in this main event. Wasn't Nash
the legal man when he decided to walk out?
- NOW I'm convinced it's Leslie. But boy, does he look weird with the beard.
Nitro did a pretty good job of building up some heat for Sunday's
Uncensored. RAW was OK, but really slowed down when Austin took up
almost 15 minutes of time doing nothing.

"If the WWF stays true to form, (and it seems that this is the way it's been
forever), Steve Austin will enter WM 14 as an incredible underdog. He'll get
pasted every week (as he has the last two), Michaels has Tyson in his corner,
and HHH and Chyna will be lurking about.
So, naturally, Tyson will find himself on the wrong end of a stunner, and
Austin will be the next WWF champion.
Of course, this is my prediction, and in no way reflects the opinion of anyone
else."

" I received a very nice e-mail from a reader today about my article
concerning pay-per-views. He was in complete agreement with me, and
then he made a rather curious comment. He said something to the effect
of "if you have any pull with the big-boys, please get them to cut back
on their pay-per views"."
