WRESTLINGMAN.COM TO BE FEATURED ON NATIONAL
TELEVISION SHOW

Show can be seen in 148 markets across North
America

NEW YORK--WRESTLINGMAN.COM will soon be seen across the
nation in the
comforts of your living room. "Wild Wild Web," CBS
nationally
syndicated television show, has chosen WRESTLINGMAN.COM
as one of
several sites to be featured in an upcoming segment on
wrestling on
the Web.

The show will be aired on CBS/Eyemark during the week
of April 13. The
show is seen in 148 markets across the United States
and Canada.

Mike Lachance, Associate Producer of the show, has
informed
WRESTLINGMAN.COM that the page might not make the cut,
but he recently
asked for permission for the page to be featured. Chris
Schramm,
WRESTLINGMAN.COM Webmaster, firmly accepted the offer.

Those in the United States and Canada can find the time
and station in
which the show airs by visiting the "Wild Wild Web"
home page at:

UM, CAN YOU GUYS GET OUT. April 27 creates a problem
for Monday night
wrestling. RAW will be live from the Coliseum in
Hampton, VA, that
night. Just 20 minutes away at the Norfolk Scope Arena
in Norfolk, VA,
Nitro will be live.

NOT HIGH ENOUGH. It seems that Syxx was offered a deal
by the WWF, and
Syxx did not accept the offer. Syxx wanted to test the
market to see
his value, and he walked away from the WWF with a low
offer, according
to reports.

HALL IS BACK. Scott Hall, according to reports from
David Meltzer, has
checked himself, voluntarily, into a rehab center.
Details are
sketchy, and the reasons are unknown, but this will not
be the first
stop into a rehab center for Hall.

Although never verified, it is said that Hall last
checked himself in
during the fall. Also, Hall has had problems with drug
use in the
past.

Due to the manner of the subject, more information will
be given when
confirmed.

I WILL CHOKE YOU ALSO. Former WWF wrestler, Kevin
Kelly, who used to
be known as Nailz during his WWF years, who reported
backstage at this
past Monday's Nitro.

It is unknown if he has signed with the WCW, but it
known that he
problems with the WWF. Kelly testified against Vince
McMahon in the
WWF steroid trial earlier this decade, but his
testimony was dismissed
when it was revealed he had a true hatred towards
McMahon. Some
reports even state that he went as far as to hit
McMahon during a
confrontation.

NO COMMERCIALS. It is being rumored that the WCW might
be looking for
a corporate sponsor for one episode of Nitro. The
sponsor would
replace commercials, and instead the Nitro fans will
enjoy a
commercial free Nitro.

The same attempt was successfully done by "Late Night
with David
Letterman" early last year. The risky show was later
seen as no more
successful as a regular show.

The question of ratings comes into question. Vince
McMahon was
recently quoted as stating that WCW stacks the ratings
by building
each 15 minute interval, the minute that ratings are
based on. Nielson
has seen this as a problem for advertisers. How do
advertisers know
that people are actually watching their commercials?
Well, Nielson,
the company which tracks ratings, will release a new
minute by minute
ratings system later this month. Direct Access Research
Tools, or
DART, will provide a more accurate track of ratings and
frequency.
This will cut any ratings stacking alleged by McMahon.

Rating numbers for RAW or Nitro are not expected to be
affected.

THE TIMELINE...a look at the history of Pro-Wrestling
and the Living
               Legend Newsletter

March 20, 1959...Sting is born.
          1983...Larry Zbyszko bought the Georgia
National heavyweight
title from Killer Brooks who beat Paul
Orndorff in
Atlanta, GA, earlier in the night.
Even though he
paid $25,000, he was stripped by NWA
President, Bob
                 Geigel.
1987...The Great Muta and Shiro Koshinaka won
the vacant
IWGP International tag team titles by
defeating Akira
Maeda and Nobuhiko Takada in Tokyo,
Japan.
1994...At Wrestlemania X, Bret Hart beat
Yokozuna in New
York, NY, to win his second WWF World
title. Roddy
                 Piper served as special referee.
1995...Legend John Studd died at Fairfax
Hospital near his
home in Burke, VA, after battling with
Hodgkin's
disease for 17 months. He was 46.
1996...Shinjiro Otani beat Chris Benoit in
Nagoya, Japan, in
the finals of the tournament to
determine the first
                 WCW Cruiserweight champion.

Exact transcript of a story reported in the Living
Legend Newsletter:

200 issues ago...Dated March 13, 1997. "The man who
wrestled as The
Patriot in World Class and WCW, maybe
headed to the
WWF soon. His gimmick is unknown."

100 issues ago...Dated October 31, 1997. "We reported
this week that
Craig Pittman would be released by the
WCW when he
contract ends soon, but we have
learned off another
name that is up in the air. The Nasty
Boys have been
out of action for nearly a year, but
it is said that
they are just waiting for their WCW
contract to end.
Injuries plagued their return, and it
seems that the
WCW is not supporting a return.
Although it is
unknown when their contract is up, it
looks like a
jump to the WWF or ECW is in the
future. The WWF may
choose to use them in their
diminishing tag team
                 rouster."

   | HOUGHTS FROM FANS

     >>Joe<<
>>nimble@mnsi.net<<

Whoa! Becki comes out here and says he wants the
talking out of
wrestling? I tune into RAW each and every week to see
what
Degeneration X will have to say, or see what Austin
is going to do.
I could care less if anyone gets in the ring for an
actual match. I
mean I would rather see Austin beat up everybody with
stunners and
Michaels give superkicks all night long than watch
boring light
heavyweights. We may not have Austin vs. Kane, but we
got something
better, another "sweet chin music," and a spectacular
return of the
Undertaker. And who wants to see Sable fight anybody?
Stand her at
ringside, and let her jump up and down for her man.
That would be
  good enough for me.

This NWO thing is really getting out of hand. Every
Monday and
Thursday nights I watch the NWO beat down another
good wrestler. But
that's not what really gets my goose! It's when I
know there are at
least 10 to 15 WCW wrestlers sitting on their duffs,
back in their
locker rooms, while one of our WCW guys gets his head
busted in. I'm
just plain sick of it! What is going on? All I here
is how the NWO
is this and that, and they are so dirty and sneaky.
Well, they may
be that, but at least they cover each others
backsides! I want to
see WCW sticking up for each other like that. Not
just every once in
a while like I see now. In order for the NWO to be
destroyed, WCW
needs to stick together and start fighting back. Stop
sitting around
and waiting for someone else to start the fight, get
off your (butt)
and do something. I know I'm just a fan, but if I
could do something
to help, I would with out a second thought.

Did you see that interview with Rude and Hennig on
Thunder last
night? Was I the only one who understood the slam at
Scott Hall? Do
you remember in the interview, Hennig pulled his hair
down over his
forehead (like Hall)? Then Rude asked Hennig, "Would
you like a
HALLS?" I think Hennig said something like, "No,
because they
(HALLS/Hall) are just to sweet." I read this morning
in a newsboard
that Hall was in REHAB again. Was that a slam at Hall
or what?

                   /\/\/\FINAL THOUGHTS/\/\/\

It is movie review time. Wild Things starring Kevin
Bacon, Nev
Cambell, Matt Dillon and Denise Richardson is weird.
That is the only
way to put it. I advice that all small children beware.
The sexual
content is strong. The plot is easy to follow, but the
characters are
not believable. A major plot is pulled out, and it
seems too
complicated for someone to think of. I am warning all
men to close
their eyes when Matt Dillon walks towards the running
shower. You have
been warned.

I am real tired. I did so much today. This is the start
of my spring
break, and I have decided to stick around to work with
the page and
schoolwork. Even though I do not have school, I will be
working on a
ton of stuff in the next week. I will have time,
though, for all of
your voices to be heard. I will take messages through
e-mail, AOL IM
ICQ.

My AOL IM name is: LLJayhawk

MY ICQ number is: 4583020
