World Wrestling Federation News & Rumors

**RAW IS WAR Preview for 4.13.98 **
Ken Shamrock & Steve Blackman vs The New Midnight Express w. Cornette &
Severn
The Pitbulls vs Skull & 8 - Ball in a "Chain Match"
The situation with Austin and McMahon will heat up..
Terry Funk and his new partner Dory Funk Jr. will be in action
There is expected to be some sort of confrontation between UT and Kane
as
well.
and much much more....

As I reported on Friday the WWF is looking to add to the Tag Team
Division,
Well, they recently did with the Pitbulls verbally agreeing to a WWF
Contract.
They are slotted to appear at Tonight's RAW IS WAR as the Pitbulls will
be the
"Mystery Team" to go up against the D.O.A.'s Skull & 8 - Ball in a
"Chain
Match". Despite rumors the mystery team will not be the Nasty Boys, due
to the
fact Jerry Saggs will probably never be able to return to the ring due
to a
back injury and also, the FreeBird and Headhunters will not be appearing
on
RAW this Monday.

Who's Terry Funk's "Mystery Partner"? Everybody seems to be pointing to
Abdulah the Butcher, but those acquisations are false as Abdulah hasn't
agreed
to any deals with the WWF as of yet. It will be none other than Terry's
brother, Dory Funk Jr. I guess the WWF Suprises aren't all as it's hyped
to
be, but I am kind of looking forward to seeing the Pitbulls and what
there all
about.

I recently talked to Al Snow and asked him if he will ever return to the
WWF,
and he commented "Probably in the summer". So we could see Al Snow back
in the
WWF by Summer and under Al Snow not Leif Cassidy and he commented he was
emabarrased by that gimmick. He also said the comments Jesse Jammes made
on
RAW about the J.O.B. Sqaud, he asked him to do it and that both him and
Jesse
are pretty good friends. He isn't that upset with McMahon and asked him
what
his good friend, Rob Van Dam thought of him, and Snow said "He likes him
and
who doesn't". And said that he feels Van Dam will appear in the WWF
eventually. Thats weird I thought Snow had some anomosity towards
McMahon,
but, I guess not.

It seems that there will be a heated confrontation between Shamrock and
Severn
tonight on the WarZone. Both these men aren't set to fight until late
'98 or
they hope to hold it off till Wrestlemania XV. Look for Severn to attack
Shamrock after the match with the Midnight Express..

John Tenta looks to be inking a deal with the World Wrestling Federation
very
shortly. It seems the WWF will bring him in as a heel and they hope with
the
help of Tenta they could get Vader well over with the fans so they could
push
this Big Man to the Main Event's where he belongs. Also, it's rumored
that
Tenta will fued with Austin as well..

The Rock N' Roll Express inked 2 year deals with the World Wrestling
Federation.

World Championship Wrestling News & Rumors

WCW plans to counter RAW IS WAR by bringing in Ric Flair to do a "Shoot"
Interview Tonight on Nitro, he might comment on the rumors of him
heading
North and he might not. It looks as if Flair plans to reform the
Horsemen on
Nitro. Also, WCW officials are trying to get Scott Hall to appear
tonight on
Nitro to get back with his buddy, Kevin Nash. WCW officials feel it was
so
close because these two men weren't on WCW TV.

There's a weak chance that Hollywood Hogan may not be at Nitro tonight
due to
Hogan appearing on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. WCW officials feel
confident that Hogan should be back for Nitro for the 2nd hour if not
the 1st.
California to Minnesotta, but Hogan will most likely not miss the
Biggest
Monday Night of ALL time, thats in my mind the Biggest Monday of ALL
TIME!

High Voltage's deal ends sometime later this month and WCW has no
interest in
resigning this duo. Look for this team to head to Titan due to Titan
having a
lot of interest in this Tag Team.. If for some reason High Voltage
doesn't
want to be in the big two there next choice would be Japan. But, I look
for
them to head over to Titan when there deals come to an end.

The Giant resigned a 1 year deal with World Championship Wrestling. So
the
Giant will not be going anywhere, but I look for the Giant to get a nice
push
and maybe even a World Title hold before his deal ends so that the Giant
will
sign a Long Term deal next year.

The Warrior is still negiotioting with World Championship Wrestling and
the
chances of him signing soon are very likely. If Warrior ends up in the
company
it's due to the fact Hogan wants the Warrior in WCW as he feels that the
Warrior owe's him a job as he jobbed to the Warrior at Wrestlemania VI.
