RAW PULLS OUT FIRST WIN IN ALMOST TWO YEARS

NEW YORK--RAW pulled off the upset this past Monday by beating Nitro
in the Nielson ratings. The win ended the 83 weeks winning streak by
Nitro.

The win by RAW was highlighted by the build-up of a match between WWF
champion Steve Austin and WWF owner Vince McMahon. The match never
took place, but the fans tuned in to watch.

The last quarter hour that climaxed the Austin-McMahon match earned a
6.0 for RAW. The same 15 minutes that featured Sting vs. Kevin Nash
for the WCW World title earned Nitro a low 4.3.

One of the biggest surprises came with a low 4.4 for Nitro's first
hour. An hour that was unopposed by RAW.

WCW INJURY REPORT. Buff Bagwell has torn a groin muscle. It is unknown
if he will take time off.

The British Bulldog was not on Nitro because he is still ailing from a
knee injury on last week's Nitro. The latest states that the Bulldog
could be out a number of months, and that would put him out of his
match against Curt Hennig this Sunday for Superbrawl.

THOSE BACKSTAGE AT NITRO. Jim Brunzell, Jesse Ventura, Harley Race and
Brad Rheingans were backstage at Nitro this past Monday. All men were
stars of the Minneapolis, MN, are in the 1980s.

MERO SICK. Marc Mero did not appear on RAW last night because he has
pneumonia. He is not expected to be at the Tuesday night taping
either.

LEE COULD BE OUT. Brian Lee, who wrestles in the WWF as Chainz, could
be gone from the WWF. His injury last night could be the set-up for
his departure from the WWF.

WHAT WASN'T SHOWN. Dark matches from last night's RAW:
Devon Storm and Ace Darling beat the Misfits.
  El Mariachi beat Steve Corino.
  El Marengue beat Scott Taylor.
Steve Austin, the Legion of Doom and Undertaker beat Hunter Hearst
Helmsley, the New Age Outlaws and Kane.

Shotgun taping from last night:
Headbangers took the Quebecers to a double DQ.
Rocky Maivia, Dilo Brown and Mark Henry won their match.
Scott Taylor and Brian Christopher beat Ace Darling and Devon Storm.

STEEL CITY PREVIEW. Steel City Wrestling's hotline reported today that
the biggest announcement in Steel City history will take place this
Sunday, April 19, at St. Vincent College's Kennedy Hall in Latrobe,
Pa. Bell time is 3 p.m.

The hotline said that one of the biggest stars in wrestling will
return on the next SCW Arena show in Irwin, Pa. This star's identity
will be revealed on April 19 in Latrobe. The SCW Arena shows have
moved to Fridays, so the mystery star will make his return on Friday,
May 1.

The main event of this Sunday's Latrobe show will feature Tom Brandi
(from the WWF) defending his Steel City heavyweight title against King
Kahlua.

Reckless Youth will be at ringside as the top three contenders to his
Steel City junior heavyweight title battle it out in a three-way
dance. The bout will feature "Beef Stew" Lou Marconi vs. Mike
Quackenbush vs. Christian York. Reckless is recovering from a
concussion he sustained two weeks ago.

This show will be a homecoming for manager "Hot $hot" Drew Lazario,
who hails from the "exclusive estates" of Latrobe. Hot Shot's stable
of "supermodels" will be in action, as Big Neal the Real Deal takes on
The Blade, and Mark "The Shark" Schrader battles SCW newcomer Jimi V.

Other bouts include Frank Stalletto and Julio Sanchez vs. Jimmy Cicero
and Don Montoya in a grudge match; and Cody Michaels vs. Cueball
Carmichael.

   | HOUGHTS FROM FANS

      >>Christopher<<
>>christopher.f.settipani@csam.com<<

Everyone seems to have an opinion on whether or not certain
grapplers are too old to wrestle. And every time I think I'm about
to agree with the "too old" contingent, I remember the original
hardcore legend (and multiple retiree), Terry Funk. Funk is still
entertaining and Funk can still wrestle (the latter, better than
Hogan ever did -- but that is a tale for another day). There is no
such thing as too old in professional wrestling. All that matters is
the bottom line -- can you make your employer more than it costs to
employ you? If you answered yes, then you can still wrestle. The
majority of the fans will let you know when you are too old.

I guess everybody feels that I think Ric Flair shouldn't be
wrestling anymore. First off, I have nothing but respect for Slick
Ric. He is truly a wrestling legend, but if you are pushing 50, you
should think about letting the younger guys get the airtime and help
them with their microphone skills. That way you won't get missed as
much. I truly do like Ric Flair, but he should help with booking
because if he can't tell who needs a major push, then nobody can.

                   /\/\/\FINAL THOUGHTS/\/\/\

These next two days are going to be tough. I will be booked from head
to toe. That is why this newsletter is being sent out early.

I am not sure if I will even send out a newsletter tomorrow. That
hardly happens, but it might happen tomorrow. I have another job to
do.

I am very disappointed in viewer thoughts of late. I have been dumping
many for the mistakes that fill them. Please spell correct them, use
one space after a period and double check grammar before sending it
in.

Well, I am having troubles with funding the page again. I need
everyone to go to the MAIN page when you go to the page, and click on
the WEBCOM button in the bottom left part of the page. Do this every
24 hours. I am real close to having the page shut down.

Go to <>http://www.wrestlingman.com<>

Click on the link below to get cheap WWF t-shirts and other WWF
merchandise. When filling out the form put "Living Legend Newsletter"
in group name to get an additional $1 off each item ordered. If you do
not want a shirt. Please visit the url below. I get some money out of
it. Thanks.
