My mom is going back to her house in Prescott in a couple of weeks and
wants to stay wired to the 'net. Here in MI she has AOL, and when she
spoke with them they told her that they don't have a local # in her
exchange in Prescott that she could dial in to check her AOL account.

1.) Does anyone in the area know whether or not this is true? I'm going
to check into it, but it sounds kind of fishy to me that she'd have to
dial all the way out to a Tuscon # to get AOL. She doen't want to pay
long distance dial-in charges to surf & pick-up mail....

2.) Would anyone recomment an ISP for her to check out in Prescott? One
where she could dial-in w/o having to pay long distance or zone charges
( local only ), one that's fairly reliable would be best. I'm thinking
somewhere in the $9.95 to $19.95 a month range for unlimited time
online. She's 63, so she could be eligible for a Senior discount....

Thanks for your help here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
