Japan - Data Analyst / Programmer for a major Financial firm

A leading global U.S. Investment Banking Firm seeks high caliber
professional candidates for a technical position in its Information
Technology division located in Tokyo. 


Job Title:	Data Analyst/Programmer	 	  

Job Requirements/Responsibilities:

l Lead and manage junior programmers using structured, full
development life cycle methodologies PADDI(Preliminary, Analysis,
Design, Develop, Implement).

Knowledge, Abilities, Skills Requirements:

l 3-5 years experience of senior analysis/programming within financial
institution.

l Knowledge of Unix Operating system ideally Sun Solaris.

l Proficient programming ability in C, C++, SQL, 

l Familiarity with Java is an added advantage.

l Knowledge of real time communications programming using protocols
(TCP/IP, SDLC, HDLC, and X25).

l Knowledge of DCOM/CORBA distributed programming techniques.

l Knowledge of middleware applications such as Reuters TIBCO, MKI
FIST, and/or TRIARCH distribution infrastructure would be ideal.

l Familiarity with Order & Execution systems.


Other Requirements:

l English and Japanese are a prerequisite in order to communicate with
local as well as global development/production teams.
