Well I sat down, looked at my bank balance, and decided to bite the bullet.

My friend with a credit card called Cumana Ltd. yesterday to order Atari OSK
for me (I'll pay him back in cash).

Yvonne at Cumana was suppose to call us back today to verify & quote the
shipping charges; she didn't. So I can't say how long this is gonna take.
(I'm gonna fax 'em something tonight just to make sure.)

This is the œ99.95 package (oh for those w/o the proper character set,
that's a ^ British Pound symbol), which I think is v2.3, slightly
back-level, but what else can I afford, eh?

It's suppose to use no ROM routines, includes MIDI support (ok Mike K.,
let's get busy!), SCSI driver via the Atari DMA port, etc.

And Cumana is suppose to ship something like 8 lbs. worth of books, too.

I'm eatin' beans & bread for a while (esp. after blowing my yearly bonus on
a SoundCanvas).

I missed the info someone posted about G-Windows having been ported to the
Atari OSK. I can only afford this Cumana pkg., so what window system will
work with it? (I'll need to order it a.s.a.p. once this Cumana pkg. is
working right.)

-- thx, Paul Seniura (from Oklahoma City)

(p.s. I haven't had time to dig thru my CoCo3 backups. Are we gonna be able
to get some of my projects/articles goin' after the holidays?)
