I beg to differ with  HILL%CMSUVMA.BITNET.  As some one who supports a
teacher education program, I want to know about programs such as CERFNET's
K-12 program.  While we are not doing it right now I expect we will be
teaching future teachers about the use of the NETWORK in the near future.
It is good to know about the program.  I have already downloaded manual and
will be showing it to the department to see if they are interested in
using it next year.

        Obvious to whom?  And for how long?  K-12 networks are growing in
both number and users/network.  Today's K-12 students are tomorrow's
higher education students, who will probably be using NREN in ways we can
only imagine today.

        Let's continue to help *all* trainers at *all* levels, please.
Richard Smith and Gleason Sackmann have the right idea as they plan a new
Navigating the Internet course tailored specifically for the preK-12
community.
