Our organization has been struggling trying to implement an ERP (enterprise
resource planning0 software solution to eliminate our Y2K problems.  The
proposed solution covers all of our legacy systems running on Y2K
non-compliant systems.  With the problems that we are having with the
implementation, we are starting to make alternative plans to work around
our legacy problems.  We have identified a number of 3rd party software
solutions that will handle most of our functions quite well.  Howver, we
are stuck on trying to find a MRP solution.

I would like to hear from those of you on the list that have experience
with implementing a 3rd party MRP software solution on a Windows server.
We are not scheduled for an NT server until next year, but could possibly
step up that purchase if there is a package that works fantastic, but
requires an NT server.  The plant (and company) is committed to our ERP
solution and every atttempt will be made to make it work, but we have a
number of pessismists here who want to be prepared.  I would prefer back
channel responses, to minimize band width for the discussion.
