IB for Linux VS IB for NT

I'm actually using IB6 in NT, it works fine but when I have 30 users in a
Network and they are getting reports, the performance of the servers goes
down. I have listened to say this doesn't happen with a Linux server.

Question:

1. Is that true?
2. Do you recommend me migrate from NT to Linux?

I tested 50 sim processes on my Linux workstation - CPU usage was ~ 80% at AMD K6-2/400 with 64M RAM and IDE HDD. So, U must think about migration.

Best regards, Serj.

I'd look at your report SQL and try to optimize it as much as possible
first. We regularly run 60-70 users against a database on NT.
