I downloaded the "underconstruction" applet from the Sun web-site, and I
find that, while it runs fine from the web, I cannot make it work locally.
The problem appears to be getDocumentBase() which, when called locally,
returns something like this:
"/D:/javatest/underconstruction/images/jack.gif"  (Note the initial
back-slash.)  This causes an IO Error (the applet can't find the .gif).
What can I do to make getDocumentBase() work properly both locally and on
the web?
