I have no idea who supports their DSL shit since I don't deal with that, but I'm just pretty sure that if their "business" support can't be arsed to tag lines anymore, there's no fuckin' way they're tagging home DSL lines. > It would be hillarious to try to get the script robots in india to throw > some tone on the line for me. Fortunately, we deal directly with the Missouri folks still, but even they've degraded greatly on average (as have their Field and Line Techs) over the last five years with all the layoffs and buyouts of anyone with a fucking clue. The average HiCap tech I speak to today is a lot stupider than he/she was five years ago, that's for sure. Their Chronic group used to be awesome, I had some legless dude in Detroit managing my real bad circuits and he was stellar at the job and went out of his way/around processes a lot with me to just get shit fixed. They cut that team down from nine folks to four two years ago and the current crop of cunts can't be bothered to even return a fucking call, much less answer live ever. > We'll see. Kind of curious to see how it works out over time. Good thing to note is that everybody involved is installing/supporting U-Verse is bottom barrel, too. It's a non-union gig so they're keeping what's left of the seniority/smarts/unionized-and-can't-fire folks on the tariffed products and everybody working U-Verse is either low-talent fuckbags with no experience who were faced with either getting laid off entirely from their union gigs or leaving the union, or they're entry level, low-wage shitwipes who don't know shit about shit. -- smr
