1.Be sure to delete all previous versions of the JDK as well as the Java 
WorkShop before installing -- otherwise some very mystifying and difficult 
problems occur. 

2.Windows 95: when asked in what directory to install the software, choose a 
name with NO embedded blanks. Otherwise, if you choose the default "program 
files", jws won't come up. 



The examples, unfortunately, have been hardcoded to use "program files", so 
you will need to edit them. (By the way, you will need to change the 
protection to allow editing.)
