I would not advise a Jaz or a Zip. I personally use a Zip drive. They are very slow and very expensive for what they do, more if you make a mistake in manipulating - say you forgot your Zip in the drive, then switch your computer off then take your Zip out, chances are it will be corrupted and you will not recover the data. This may also happen if your windows system GPFs.
Instead I would be looking for an extractible hard disk. For the same price as a Zip drive plus cartridge, you get five times the capacity and tremendously faster, plus better robustness (except for postage, very hard to mail a hard drive).
