Stupidly, no. Accidentally, possibly. Just don't start by downloading virus
source. There. I've eaten all my marshmallows.

I've given your original question some thought (you may have forgotten it in
all this, I certainly did), so here are a few alternatives you may wish to
consider.

If you have some method in your code that you want to keep secret, that's
novel and of value to your company, then consider patenting it. (There will
be those that think this is not the right route -- free beer etc -- but it's
a commercially sound technique, and I would defend your freedom to your
secret.)

If you want to make it more difficult for people to run your products
illegally, consider

o hardware dongles
o some form of key certificate/password on encrypted _data_ (could be an
important EXE that's held in encrypted form)
o distribute as crippleware -- don't give them the bit that prints, for
instance, until they've bought
o a CD dongle variant -- issue CDs with a deliberate I/O error at a given
point, check for it; most CD copying software can't copy CDs that generate
I/O errors.
o another "dongle-with-password" -- generate "fingerprints" from the boxes
the software is installed on, issue keys that unlock just on those boxes
o giving the software away and charging for support
o talking to audit/licence management software vendors and ensuring they can
detect your product from their audit products
o all of the above simultaneously.

None are 100% foolproof, but stops most of the common forms of abuse. I
would also suggest joining FAST (Federation Against Software Theft) though I
don't know if it operates in France.
