So just because you and I think it is wrong, does it stop anyone from conducting
the research?? If one is determined and has the resources they can easily do
it. Besides, must you look at the worst case scenarios? Through genetics many
advances have been made to AID humankind. Take for instance common plants that
grow medicine that you can I use. Cows that make certain types of milk for
people with medical alliments to drink. And what about crops that produce more
food per acre? Geez look on the bright side of things. Oh and all this talk
about giving power to a baby... well you're right genetic power is something
more deadly than anything else. Biological weapons are indeed more deadly than
nuclear weapons. The problem is that the risks out wiegh any possible gains
that one could have in using genetics to create a weapon. The risk of that
biological weapon to go wrong and backfire is too high. And finally all this
talk about Hitler. Ok if and I do mean if, Hitler had the capability of cloning
then everyone else would too. It would come down to a battle of who had the
most resources. Just a little history for you. Hitler relied on a quick
decisive war. Swift and stunning. Germany never had the resources to pull a
long war. Just like back in the American Civil War. The South could never had
fought a long war. If anything, the South need a quick war. And that is why in
both cases, those sides lost. Of course there were other factors, but I really
don't have the time nor the energy to go into that.
